Code of Conduct

Flux follows the Contributor Covenant 2.1. This page links to the canonical text and notes how reports are handled in the Flux project.

Summary

Contributors to Flux — code, docs, examples, issues, discussions — agree to:

Treat each other professionally regardless of background or experience level.
Give and accept constructive feedback.
Focus on what is best for the project and the wider community.
Acknowledge mistakes and learn from them.

Reporting

Concerns about behavior can be reported to the project maintainers. The current canonical reporting path is a GitHub issue marked with the conduct label, or a private message to a project maintainer if a public issue is not appropriate.

If neither option is right for your situation, email the project maintainer addresses listed in the Flux repository’s MAINTAINERS file (or top-level README.md if MAINTAINERS is not present).

Scope

This applies to all project spaces: the source repository, the docs repository, GitHub Discussions and Issues, any official chat channels, and project events.

Enforcement

The maintainer team reviews reports, decides on a response, and communicates the outcome to the parties involved. Responses range from a private warning to a temporary ban to a permanent ban. The Contributor Covenant 2.1 text describes the response ladder in detail; Flux follows it.
